mr clement. (i am not a toy designer.)

'mr clement’ is the artistic pseudonym for my work as a sculptor and graphic novelist. My inspirations come from comics, popular culture and classical music. I work to soften traditionally highbrow fine art by mixing it with popular sub-culture and explore a new and accessible
platform to present my artwork. I experiment with the concept of sculpture in different contexts, produce friendly artwork in the form of mini sculptures ('toys’). Simplicity and fun is important, as I see it necessary to have a more direct and pure way for people to understand artwork and relate themselves to the work and the world beyond.

mr clement graduated from the Kingston University and is currently undertaking his MA course in Communication Arts at the Royal College of Art in London.
